Purcellville, VA – A donation presentation will take place this Saturday at the Bank of Clarke parking lot, recognizing a recent initiative by the Bank of Clarke in partnership with the Blue Ridge Eagles. The event is set to begin at 8:00 AM at the Bank of Clarke branch located at 203 Hirst Rd, Purcellville, VA 20134.

As part of the Give with BOC program, the initiative has raised funds for the nonprofit organization Better A Life. The Blue Ridge Eagles contributed $60,000, which was matched by the Bank of Clarke, resulting in a total contribution of $120,000. Including additional donations collected online and in-branch last quarter, the total amount raised reached $137,919.08. This funding has allowed Better A Life to purchase a new 15-passenger van, which will be displayed at the event featuring the logos of both organizations.

The donation presentation aims to highlight the community’s efforts in supporting local initiatives. Elizabeth Ford from Better A Life will be present with the new van, providing attendees an opportunity to see the impact of the contributions.
