Purcellville, VA — The Town of Purcellville has formally appointed Robert J. Sproul as its new Town Attorney, effective immediately. Sproul joins the town with extensive legal experience encompassing municipal law, land-use and real-estate matters, government contracting, and litigation. 

In his previous role as Assistant County Attorney for Loudoun County, Sproul advised county officials on zoning, taxation, code enforcement and real-estate issues and represented the county in related litigation.  He currently serves as counsel at the law firm Harrison & Johnston, PLC in Leesburg, where he advises private and public-sector clients on contracts, employment, regulatory and real-estate matters.
