Purcellville, VA – Book lovers and bargain hunters alike are in for a treat on Saturday, October 11, as the Purcellville Library Advisory Board hosts its eagerly anticipated Book Sale. Taking place from 9 AM to 4 PM, the sale will be conveniently located in the staff parking lot on the west side of the library building, facing Main Street.

The event promises a wide selection of gently used books and movies to suit all ages and interests, all available at unbeatable prices. From mystery novels to educational videos, there’s something for everyone. This year’s collection also features a particularly nice assortment of children’s books, thanks in part to generous donations from teachers following a change in Loudoun County’s reading list. 

Bargain enthusiasts can look forward to purchasing children’s books for just $0.50 each, while hardcover books are priced at $2.00 and paperbacks at $1.00. It’s a fantastic opportunity to stock up on reading materials for the whole family.

Proceeds from the sale will support the Purcellville Library’s programs, resources, and events, benefiting the entire community and enhancing the library’s array of offerings. 

Community members are encouraged to contribute to the cause by donating their gently used books and movies. Donations will be accepted from October 4 through October 10 during the library’s regular business hours, which are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday, 12 PM to 5 PM.
