Purcellville’s highly anticipated bagel destination will be arriving later than expected. Bagel Chicks Bakery, a well-known regional shop celebrated for its hand-rolled bagels and house-made spreads, has announced a delay in its Purcellville opening.

Originally targeting an October 2025 debut, the business is now aiming for an early spring opening, according to co-owner Stephanie, who provided an update this week.

“All our equipment is ordered, and we are still waiting on a few things to be completed on the construction side of things,” Stephanie said. “Unfortunately, there have been some delays, but we are really hoping for early spring to be open. We are so excited and happy to get open in Purcellville.”

While construction timelines have slowed progress, the owners emphasized that momentum continues behind the scenes. With equipment already on order and build-out work ongoing, the project remains active and moving forward.
