Purcellville, VA — The Virginia Valley Vipers have appointed Ed Corporal as their new Head Coach for the 2026 TBL season. Corporal, renowned for his success in The Basketball League (TBL), previously led the Frederick Flying Cows to a stellar 45–12 record and multiple championships, including the 2025 Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern Conference titles.

With a career spanning 41 years, Corporal has a history of developing talent, including NBA player Lindy Waters III and 2025 TBL MVP Javon Adams. Corporal expressed excitement about joining the Vipers, stating, “I’m thrilled to begin this journey and build a team that Vipers fans can be proud of.”

Vipers General Manager Jason Hamm praised Corporal’s hiring, citing his decade of TBL experience as pivotal for the team’s championship aspirations. “When you have the chance to bring in someone with Ed’s track record, you seize it. His leadership will be invaluable as we pursue our goals,” Hamm said.
