Purcellville, VA – SimplyBe Coffee, a nonprofit coffee shop dedicated to providing employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, is set to launch its second location in Purcellville in February 2026, transforming a former bank space inside the Giant Food store. This expansion is a pivotal step in the organization’s mission to foster inclusivity within the community.
Founded in December 2020 in Leesburg, Virginia, SimplyBe operates under Tree of Life Ministries. It has created a welcoming environment where individuals with special needs can thrive through meaningful work and authentic connection. The partnership with Giant Food seeks to repurpose unused retail space, aligning with both organizations’ commitment to inclusive hiring.
Renovations have been underway to prepare the new SimplyBe Coffee location, which aims to provide job opportunities for individuals with disabilities while serving as a community gathering spot that embodies the spirit of #CoffeeWithACause.
The new shop will feature a wide array of beverages, from traditional lattes and espresso to teas, smoothies, and monthly specials, alongside a selection of food items. The Coffee Club membership, at $10.99 per month, offers unlimited drip coffee and tea, a branded tumbler, and two hours of free conference room use each month at the Leesburg location. Additionally, customers can enjoy online ordering for convenient pickup, with catering services available for events and meetings.
Notably, SimplyBe Coffee memberships will be valid at both locations, allowing customers to bring their favorite mugs and enjoy the same quality coffee and service.
The original Leesburg SimplyBe Coffee relocated to its current Church Street location in 2024, becoming a community hub with multiple rooms, a lounge, and spaces for various events, including storytime sessions and support gatherings for parents of children with disabilities.
As Purcellville anticipates the opening of SimplyBe Coffee, the community looks forward to enjoying exceptional coffee while supporting a mission that empowers individuals with disabilities. “Our mission is to provide work opportunities for individuals with special needs, and this new location helps us expand those opportunities into Western Loudoun. The management team at Giant has been incredibly supportive – we are excited to make an impact together,” said a spokesperson for SimplyBe Coffee.
