Inova Blood Donor Services is reaching out to residents of Loudoun County to encourage blood donations at several upcoming community drives. This initiative follows a significant 36 percent drop in donor numbers attributed to recent severe weather conditions. Inova emphasizes that blood donations are crucial for patient care in the region.

Additionally, the Dulles Donor Center is open seven days a week, providing options for both whole blood and platelet donations. Walk-ins are accepted as space allows, and appointments can be arranged online at InovaBlood.org.
