PURCELLVILLE, VA — The Virginia Valley Vipers were honored at their final regular-season home game when Chair Phyllis J. Randall of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, joined by Supervisor Koran T. Saines of the Stering District, attended the matchup against the Baltimore Rhythm and presented the organization with a county commendation.
During halftime, Chair Randall presented the commendation letter to the Vipers organization. It was accepted by Team Market Owners Tina and Rodney Culbreath in recognition of the team’s role in community engagement with businesses and nonprofits across the region.
“It was an honor to welcome Chair Phyllis Randall and Supervisor Koran Saines to our final regular season home game,” said Vipers Director of Communications & Media Relations Josh Kirby. “To receive a commendation from Loudoun County recognizing the work of our organization is incredibly meaningful. The Vipers have always believed that our impact should extend beyond the basketball court, and this recognition reflects the dedication of our ownership, players, coaches, sponsors, and community partners who have helped us make a positive difference throughout the region.”
The organization extended its thanks to the local businesses and nonprofits that worked with ownership and staff throughout the season on partnerships and community service initiatives.

On behalf of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Kershner and I want to acknowledge the incredible heart and teamwork you all brought to the court this season. Watching you compete with such dedication and brotherhood was inspiring, and everyone from the Board of Supervisors cheered you on as you represented our county with pride. With an at-home record of 8–3 this season, you proved that Loudoun is a fantastic county to live, work, learn, and play. As your season comes to a close, we would also like to acknowledge your continued community engagement with Western Loudoun businesses and nonprofits. We hope you know that your team, and the rest of Viper Nation, embody Loudoun County’s values of service and communal spirit, which strengthen local pride and inspire Loudoun’s youth. On behalf of the Board, we wish you many future seasons of success.
