Independence Day Parade

Parade Information:

The parade will start at 11 a.m. Please see the information about the route and road closures below to help prepare. 

 Parade Route:

The Independence Day Parade will start and finish at Blue Ridge Middle School, making a loop. 

• Blue Ridge Middle School 
• Right on A Street
• Right on 20^th Street
• Right on Main Street
• Right on Maple Avenue
• Right on A Street
• Right at Blue Ridge Middle School

 Road Closures for the Parade:

Do not park on the streets along the parade route listed below from Friday, June 26 at 9:00 p.m. through Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. For safety reasons, cars parked along the parade route are subject to towing.

The roads listed below will be closed from 10:30 a.m. and remain closed until the parade concludes at approximately 1:00 p.m. Times are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unexpected circumstances.

• A Street from Maple Ave to 20^th Street 
• 20^th Street from A Street to Main Street 
• Main Street from 20^th to Maple Avenue 
• Maple Avenue from Main Street to A Street 

There will be some rolling road closures as the parade passes through, with the primary concern for the safety of spectators and parade participants. The Purcellville Police Department will manage closures and re-opening of roadways based on the priority of safety.
