Purcellville, Va. – The Virginia Valley Vipers are preparing to commence their 2026 season this Sunday, March 8th, with a home game against the Jersey Shore Breaks at Patrick Henry College.

The Vipers will feature seven players returning from last season, including Mike Brown, Darian Peterson, Dorian Benford, Braedan Allen, Jason Hutzler, Dwight Glover Jr., and Cam Williams. These players are expected to provide valuable experience and consistency for the team as they enter the new season.

In addition to the returning roster, the Vipers have added four new players: Tavares Sledge, RJ Blakney, Khi Long, and Raemaad Wright. Blakney, a graduate of Old Dominion University in 2025, previously played at Dayton University and has experience playing in international leagues. Raemaad Wright has a notable collegiate record from Virginia Union University and has played semi-professionally with the Petersburg Cavaliers. Khi Long comes from a background involving multiple universities, including Old Dominion University and Virginia Tech, and has played professionally in Luxembourg.
